Transit riders who use MARTA's red line service may need to find an alternative route for a few days. MARTA is suspending red line service south of the Medical Center rail station from 9 p.m. Feb. 17 until the morning of Feb. 22. It will allow the transit agency to work on replacing aging rail tracks in the center of Georgia 400. It could affect the commutes of workers who head to or from Buckhead, Central Perimeter and North Fulton. The red line runs from Sandy Springs to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, running through Dunwoody, Buckhead, Midtown, Downtown, West End, Oakland City and College Park.
