In years to come, Dunwoody officials could start creating an extensive trail network with nearly 69 miles of paved paths, an effort to enhance mobility options in the car-centric suburb. On April 24, Dunwoody City Council will discuss an ambitious trail master plan crafted by local leaders and the PATH Foundation, a nonprofit helping to link metro Atlanta with a system of trails. The routes proposed in Dunwoody would connect several destinations, including two MARTA rail stations, seven shopping centers, nine parks and 11 schools.
