Perimeter Center leaders hope to bring dense development to MARTA's Dunwoody rail station, a 1990s-era transit hub surrounded by a popular mall and a gush of real estate activity. The Perimeter Community Improvement Districts are searching for a firm to come up with a framework for redeveloping the exterior of the station into a project with apartments, offices, hotel rooms, retail or other uses. The organization will gather proposals until May 10, after which it will review the applications with MARTA and Dunwoody officials.
