Published: 9:59 PM EDT September 8, 2022 Updated: 1:20 AM EDT September 9, 2022 MARIETTA, Ga. — Community support is pouring out throughout metro Atlanta Thursday night after two Cobb County deputies were shot and killed in the line of duty while serving a warrant at a home in a Marietta neighborhood, according to authorities. In an overnight update, the Cobb County Sheriff said an hours-long standoff had concluded and two suspects were in custody.
